Maggie’s Journey
My path into chiropractic care began as an athlete. After a serious ankle injury, chiropractic treatment helped me return to competitive volleyball in nearly half the expected recovery time. That experience showed me the power of movement-based care and set the direction for my career.
With a background in dental hygiene and advanced chiropractic training, I began noticing a consistent pattern: TMJ dysfunction rarely exists alone. Jaw pain often overlaps with neck issues, headaches, posture, balance, and full-body biomechanics. That intersection became my focus.
As I entered practice, I also recognized the limits of static imaging. Pain happens in motion, yet most diagnostics are frozen in time. That led me to Dynamic Digital Radiography (DDR), motion X-ray technology that allows joints to be evaluated in real time.
This approach became the foundation of Jawmatrix—a specialty practice built on motion-based diagnosis, objective data, and integrated care. Today, we are the only facility in California offering FDA-approved DDR for musculoskeletal and TMJ evaluation.
My work now lives at the intersection of TMJ, posture, biomechanics, and advanced imaging—helping patients gain clarity, precision care, and lasting results.
